The convicted bank robber was moved from the Remand Centre yesterday.
The 73-year-old was sentenced to 35 years in jail for 11 armed robberies, which is a sentence that was known to be academic, due to Parson’s terminal cancer and failing health.
Parsons is the second prisoner known to have accessed voluntary assisted dying in the state.
The health minister said the case would be reviewed by the scheme’s ethics board.
