A group of major Australian retailers have leveraged a $1 deal in a new online shopping salvo.
OnePass has dropped its membership to $1 month for 12 months for unlimited free deliveries at Kmart, Target, Bunnings, Officeworks and Priceline.
New members will be able to sign up for the deal, but existing members will miss out.

Tess Chapman, a full-time working mother-of-two from Mornington, shops online for convenience and is estimated to save $100 a year on deliveries by signing up to the deal.
The flash end-of-financial-year sale begins today and expires at the end of the month.
The deal comes as Australians increasingly turn to online shopping.
According to Australia Post, consumers are making more frequent but smaller purchases online than previously, with an average basket size of $98.10.

“Repeat purchasing intensified, as the number of purchases per household went up,” Australia Post said in its latest state of commerce report.
“Households that shopped 26-51 times a year increased by two per cent while the group of most frequent shoppers, who made over 52 purchases annually, increased by one per cent.”
The national courier also found the speed of delivery is an important factor, with 68 per cent of shoppers abandoning their cart if the delivery method is too slow.
