Police have begun investigations after a man with a gunshot wound showed up at a hospital in south-west Sydney.
The 37-year-old man arrived at Bankstown Hospital after 12am today.
He was treated at the scene before he was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a serious condition.

The man remains in hospital tonight in a stable condition.
Police have started an investigation into how he was shot and urged anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
