South Australian Film Corporation’s Head of Operations Robyn Jones is leaving after three years with the organisation.
She joined in July 2021 as Finance Manager, later going on to lead the agency’s corporate, finance and operations teams in a range of roles including Chief Operating Officer, Head of Finance and Head of Operations. She previously worked for the Adelaide Film Festival, the Mercury (Media Resource Centre) and KPMG.
During her time at the SAFC she led an agency-wide review of organisational policies and procedures, new financial system, upgrades to the Adelaide Studios facilities and was also instrumental in driving the SAFC’s COVID response.
SAFC CEO Kate Croser said “A much loved member of SAFC staff, and an instrumental part of our executive leadership team, Robyn has been a driving force for positive change and growth within the agency, always working to generate the best outcomes for the SAFC business, our staff and the wider screen sector.
“I would like to thank Robyn for her hard work, her commitment and passion and congratulate her on her many achievements for the SAFC. We all wish her the best for the next chapter of her career.”
Robyn Jones said: “It has been a pleasure and a privilege to have been part of such an iconic institution as the SAFC, leading and working with the dynamic SAFC team and collaborating with talented screen industry professionals at Adelaide Studios and across the entire sector.
“As I embark on a new professional journey, I wish to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone at the SAFC, whose dedication and talent have left an indelible mark on my career. I am confident that the team – and SA’s wider screen sector – will continue to reach new heights of success.”
SAFC will begin a recruitment process shortly.
