A driver has allegedly been kicked in the back and smashed with a sign in a punch up on an Adelaide street after an apparent road rage incident spilled onto a footpath.
A witness filmed the moment a man sprinted down Prospect Road and chased after a black ute.
The runner then jumped into a moving Mazda to continue the chase.

The ute swerved to the wrong side of the road and tried to wave the car behind to move on but instead the vehicle stopped and the passenger jumped out and kicked the ute’s door.
The ute driver emerged with a club lock and took aim at the car before the fight moved over to the footpath.
Golda Pitia was inside her hair salon just after 9pm when a sign outside of her business was used as a weapon, she says.

“He ran back here and took my sign, and was using my sign to protect himself, it was really quick,” she told 9News.
Pitia locked herself inside and hoped the violence wouldn’t spill into her shop.
“I was like ‘what do we do, what do we do? I don’t want them coming in here’,” she said.
Other business owners along the busy Blair Athol stretch were left in shock by the incident.
“It’s really bad for our community, especially businesses as well,” one business owner said.
“It is pretty scary honestly, because down this road it’s very popular and there’s a lot of kids and families that do walk around this road,” another business owner said.
It is unclear what sparked the altercation but police said an investigation is underway.
Officers are asking anyone with information or dashcam to contact them.
