A man will face court today on a domestic violence murder charge after a woman’s death in western Sydney yesterday.
About 1.40pm yesterday (Monday 8 July 2024), emergency services were called to a home on the Great Western Highway, Kingswood, following reports of a stabbing.
Police found a 21-year-old woman with two stab wounds to her chest.

She died at the scene.
At about 7.10pm yesterday, police arrested a 21-year-old man on Derby Street, Penrith.
Police will allege the man was in a domestic relationship with the dead woman.
He was refused bail and will appear in court today.
