There were some close battles on Sunday night, especially in 6pm news.

Travel Guides topped entertainment at 1.19m viewers in National TV Audience.

That was ahead of Dancing with the Stars‘ return at 938,000 -but Seven still won the night overall.

From 7:30pm MasterChef Australia drew 654,000 then Spicks & Specks (613,000) and Austin (395,000).

Later 60 Minutes was 717,000 then after 8:30pm 7News Spotlight (612,000), Ladies in Black (315,000) and Tulsa King (201,000).

Seven News was #1 at 1.34m. The Latest (416,000) and Code 1: Minute by Minute (160,000) followed.

Nine News was hot on Seven’s heels at 1.32m then a repeat of The Murder of Lyn Dawson (337,000). Wimbledon averaged 222,000 / 174,000.

ABC News scored 824,000 then Antiques Roadshow (332,000) and The Split (127,000).

The Sunday Project managed 310,000 then 10 News First (304,000 / 241,000) and FBI (118,000).

On SBS it was Tour de France at 225,000 then SBS World News (213,000 / 125,000), Mesopotamia: The Rise of Cities (180,000) and Structures of Marvel: Medieval Paris (151,000).
