Nine Adelaide screens a City-Bay: 50 Years and Running special by filmmaker Johnny Taranto this Sunday.
Hosted by Ryan Fitzgerald, this will showcase the history of one of South Australia’s most iconic events, from the vision of one man to 8,000 participants annually.
“The City-Bay Fun Run is an event that almost everyone in Adelaide has a connection to. Whether directly or indirectly, it’s an event that has touched far more than the 800,000 people who have run it over the years” said Director, Johnny Taranto, “the City-Bay is arguably the most popular fun-run in the world. To think that this is all attributable to the vision, motivation and unshakable determination of one man in 1973 makes this story even more remarkable.”
City-Bay: 50 Years and Running is a collaboration between the City-Bay Fun Run Committee, 9 Adelaide and award-winning documentary filmmaker Johnny Taranto.
