Jayne Azzopardi will succeed Brooke Boney as news presenter on the Today show.
Boney previously announced she would depart to study at Oxford University.
Azzopardi joined Nine in 2009. Her career includes ITN / BBC, CNBC and Al Jazeera, covering politics in Canberra, including two Federal Elections and several leadership changes. For the last couple of years she has been co-hosting Weekend Today with Clint Stanaway.
She begins next week.
Renee Bargh will also feature more regularly to cover the entertainment beat, several days a week, alongside veteran Richard Wilkins.
Her career includes Channel [V], Extra (USA), co-hosting The Voice and becoming a Stanbassador. Over the past couple of years she has been filling in on Today over summer.
