It’s official. Suits: L.A. has been picked by by NBC.
Filmed in Vancouver, the spin-off of Suits stars Stephen Amell, and sees creator Aaron Korsh return as writer and executive producer.
Amell played superhero Oliver Queen / The Green Arrow for eight seasons of Arrow and more recently starred as a fledging professional wrestler in Heels.
According to the synopsis, Suits: L.A. follows Ted Black (Amell), “a former federal prosecutor from New York, has reinvented himself representing the most powerful clients in Los Angeles. His firm is at a crisis point and to survive he must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career. Ted is surrounded by a stellar group of characters who test their loyalties to both Ted and each other while they can’t help but mix their personal and professional lives.”
There’s no word if former Suits stars, if any, will return for the spin-off but several did reunite to film a recent Super Bowl commercial.
