You can really sense that TV schedules are largely treading water ahead of the Olympics getting underway this week (hopefully our swimming team won’t be doing the same).

Home & Away topped entertainment at 860,000 in National TV Audience.

That was followed by Tipping Point‘s 724,000 defeating The Chase‘s 674,000.

That meant viewing dropped after 7:30pm.

7:30 led its slot at 719,000 followed by A Current Affair: Extra (a separate figure at 713,000), I Was Actually There (495,000), Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly Australia (434,000) and Great British Railway Journeys (173,000).

At 8pm The Hundred: Olympic special pulled 568,000 then from 8:30pm The Cheap Seats (448,000), Britain’s Got Talent (425,000), Maggie Beer’s Big Mission (345,000) and Insight (191,000).

Seven News was back on top at 1.33m for Seven. The Good Doctor drew 340,000.

Nine News averaged 1.29m. A Current Affair‘s first 30 mins led with 931,000. Wonka: The Scandal That Rocked Britain was 260,000 then Outback Opal Hunters (121,000).

ABC News scored 917,000 for ABC. Hard Quiz (386,000), Antiques Roadshow (237,000) and The Art Of (106,000) followed.

The Project pulled 335,000 for 10 then 10 News First (315,000) and Deal or No Deal (306,000). NCIS managed 111,000.

On SBS it was SBS World News (229,000 / 180,000), Mastermind (98,000) and Dateline (93,000).
