A trolley jack sold at Super Cheap Auto has been recalled over concerns it could collapse, dropping vehicles onto the user.
The front wheel axle, lifting arm pivot shaft, or cylinder pivot shaft may break during normal use, according to a safety alert released by Product Safety Australia.
There is a risk of serious injury or death if the jack breaks, potentially causing a vehicle to collapse onto the user, they said.

This could occur while the jack is not in use.
The recalled line comes from Supercheap Auto’s ToolPro brand.
The affected jacks are the Low-profile trolley jacks rated to 1600kg.
Batches starting with the number “TH202311” are being recalled, and were sold between January 9 and May 1, 2024.

The manufacturer’s label can be seen on the top of the trolley.
“Consumers should immediately stop using the product and check the manufacturing batch of their jack,” Product Safety Australia said.
Users with one of the recalled products should take it to Supercheap Auto for a refund or replacement.
