The sister of a man found dead in a stormwater drain in eastern Perth last week has asked for the public’s help to find answers.

Brock Pavy was found in the drain on Marlboro Road in Swan View about 11am (9am AEST) last Thursday by a member of the public.

The 39-year-old’s older sister, Lorrie Reevy, said he was rough around the edges but deserved justice.

“We need to know. I mean we can’t bring him back but someone knows something,” she exclusively told 9News.

In recent years, Pavy struggled with his mental health and served time in prison but Reevy said he always had heart of gold.

“People might’ve said you know he looks scary but he was just a bloody big teddy bear,” she said.

“He had tattoos, long hair you know but harmless.”

Homicide detectives are still investigating his death and combed through his unit complex on Thursday.

Officers told Reevy they can’t find any CCTV of her brother leading up to his death.

She said there’s concern over the state his house was found in.

“The glass door was missing. Again. How? Why?” she said.

Pavy’s death is still being treated as suspicious with detectives working to understand how he lost his life.

His sister urged anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

“This is someone’s brother this is someone’s son. No parent should have to bury their child. It might only be a little bit of information but that could be the key to solving this,” she said.

“Just have a heart.”
