YouTube star MrBeast has hired an “independent third party” to investigate accusations his former co-host groomed a teenager.
MrBeast – real name Jimmy Donaldson – said in a post on X he was “disgusted” by the allegations from other YouTubers against Ava Kris Tyson.
“I’ve seen enough online and taken immediate action to remove Ava from the company, my channel, and any association with MrBeast,” he said.

“I do not condone or support any of the inappropriate actions.
“I will allow the independent investigators the necessary time to conduct a comprehensive investigation and will take any further actions based on their findings.”
On her own X profile, Tyson vehemently denied having groomed anybody, but apologised for past online behaviour that she conceded some may have found offensive.
“To lump these two factors together to create a narrative that my behavior extended beyond bad edgy jokes is disgusting and did not happen,” she said.

“In past years, I have learned that my old humor is not acceptable. I cannot change who I was, but I can continue to work on myself.”
She claimed she and Donaldson had “mutually agreed” she should quit MrBeast, which she said was done out of concern for the impact the allegations might have on other employees.
Donaldson boasts the biggest audience on YouTube, with more than 300 million subscribers.
