
Accounting software giant Xero is suffering a global outage, coming at a critical time for accounts teams settling end-of-month accounts.
This morning the software reported “some users may be experiencing errors logging in or navigating to Xero”.
The New Zealand-based company has over four million subscribers in 180 countries providing everything from invoicing to payroll services to small and large businesses.

Suffering an outage on July 31 means many businesses will be left struggling to make end-of-month payments, close their accounts and even make payroll changes ahead of payday which would fall tomorrow for many businesses.
The company say they have identified the issue with a third party, naming AWS (or Amazon Web Services) who likely host their cloud-based software systems around the world.
There is no current ETA for a restoration of services.
