A Sydney nurse accused of stalking a NSW state MP will try convincing a magistrate she has a mental health impairment after prosecutors allege she stalked another victim.

Adrianne McKinney is facing a myriad of charges over the alleged harassment of three women, including the politician who AAP has chosen not to name for privacy reasons.

The 39-year-old faces five counts of using her mobile phone and Instagram account to menace, harass or offend, one count of stalking the MP, and one count of possessing the medical health records of a second woman to commit intimidation.

She appeared before Burwood Local Court on Wednesday where her lawyer Avinash Singh acknowledged that an eighth count of stalking this second alleged victim had been brought by police.

Singh also flagged that his client would argue that she had a mental health impairment with a hearing for this adjourned to September 13.

The campaign of alleged stalking and harassment occurred over about two months from February to April this year, according to court documents seen by AAP.

The conduct is alleged to have caused the two women to fear physical or mental harm.

Under her bail conditions, McKinney is not to own or use a smartphone and can only use a computer connected to the internet for certain purposes.

The 39-year-old is also facing allegations in Waverley Local Court where she has been hit with four counts of stalk/intimidate and three counts of using a carriage service to menace, harass and offend.
