A 14-year-old girl has been charged with murder after a man was fatally stabbed on Queensland’s Fraser Coast overnight.
Emergency services were called to Corser Street in Point Vernon about 9pm yesterday following reports a 24-year-old man had been stabbed.
He was taken to Hervey Bay Hospital but died from his injuries upon arrival.

A 14-year-old girl was taken into custody and charged a short time later.
She is expected to appear before Hervey Bay Childrens Court tomorrow.
Police understood both the girl and the man were known to each other.
Anyone with information that could assist police investigations is urged to come forward.
