A burglar in Melbourne stopped for a quick snack in a victim’s house before making off with their car, police say.
The man climbed through the window of a house on Pakington Street, Kew, at about 5.30am on August 6.
He stole shoes, a bag, mobile phones, and car keys, before eating two muffins that had been left out on the kitchen bench.

After leaving the house, he stole a 2018 Toyota Landcruiser with the Victorian number plate ASI169.
Police have released a CCTV image of a man they believe could help with the investigation.
He appears to be Caucasian, with stubble, and was wearing a hoodie at the time.
