A search is resuming today for a man who disappeared from a river on Queensland’s Fraser Coast.
The green-haired man was last seen in the Mary River in Maryborough, about 200 kilometres north of Brisbane, about 5.45pm yesterday amid moderate rainfall.
Police said a search of the river and areas near the Lamington Bridge where he was last seen failed to find him and called on members of the public to help find the 26-year-old.

A search by water police, the dive squad and SES was set to resume at 7am.
Police were also calling on anyone with information about the man or had seen him to come forward.
He was described as Caucasian and about 160 centimetres tall, with brown eyes.
Maryborough has been wet over the past few days but missed the worst of the rain band drenching Northern NSW and another that drenched Rockhampton, further north.
It picked up 38 millimetres across yesterday and Monday and the Mary River wasn’t under any flood warning.
