Australia Post has put the call out to thousands of people looking for work to join their seasonal workforce in the lead-up to the Christmas holidays.
It is seeking about 3000 seasonal casuals as operations ramp up – with a focus on particular skills.
Forklift operators, van and truck drivers, freight handlers and parcel sorters are sought to fill roles across the delivery network.

There are roles available in every state and territory, with the highest demand in New South Wales, Victoria, and Queensland.
“As we approach our busiest time of year, we’re looking to bolster our workforce to ensure we can meet increased demand and maintain the high level of service Australians expect from Australia Post,” executive general manager people and culture Sue Davies said.
“Last year, we delivered almost 100 million parcels in the lead-up to Christmas, thanks to the help of our seasonal casuals who worked alongside our existing team members.
