A group of Irish nationals posing as tourists have been arrested following a series of alleged burglaries across Melbourne.
Detectives believe four men entered Australia earlier this year from the United Kingdom, before allegedly carrying out more than 20 burglaries between April and July.
Police allege the group would use cleaning products to cover their tracks.

CCTV obtained by 9News shows the group checking into a Coburg caravan park once they entered the country.
Police allege the group stole more than $500,000 worth of property including cash, designer jewellery, watches and handbags.
The group allegedly targeted homes in Burwood, Craigieburn, Doncaster, Epping, Forest Hill, Hillside, Hoppers Crossing, Mill Park, Mount Waverley, and Tarneit.
Although most of the offences took place while residents were away, the group is accused of committing two home invasions and one aggravated burglary.
In one instance, a young woman emerged from the shower to find the intruders demanding that she hand over her valuable jewellery.
“People coming into your private space… it’s extremely traumatic,” Victoria Police Senior Sergeant Daniel Brown said.

Police executed five search warrants at properties across Melbourne’s northern suburbs last week.
Multiple vehicles valued at more than $190,000 were seized along with designer watches including a Rolex worth more than $120,000.
“This is a clear message to anyone thinking they can break into homes without repercussions,” Brown said.
“We will continue to target serious and organised crime groups, no matter where they’re from.”
The four men aged between 31 and 33 have been remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on November 6.
Police also arrested a 32-year-old woman at a caravan park in Coburg. She was charged with theft.
The woman was bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on October 28.
