A man has been charged with the murder of a man found dead inside a Brisbane unit.
Police found the body of a 61-year-old while they were conducting a welfare check at a unit on Vine Street in Stones Corner about 1am on Friday.
Detectives located and arrested a 40-year-old man on the Sunshine Coast in the early hours of this morning.

Investigators believe the death occurred due to a fight at the unit on Friday last week.
Police will allege the two men are known to each other.

The 40-year-old Sunshine Coast man will appear in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Monday.
Anyone who witnessed any suspicious behaviour in the area at the time or who may have information which could assist with investigations is urged to contact police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
