There were still Olympics in play this week as the ratings battle ramped up with new and returning shows.
On Sunday night for the final events from Paris, Nine enjoyed a 46.7% share, more than double Seven.
Together with a replay of the Closing Ceremony on Monday night, Nine won the week at 30.08% to Seven’s 28.74%.
Outside of Sport and News, The Block led in entertainment at 1.11m while Home & Away was next at 911,000 then Dancing with the Stars at 889,000.
Four Corners expose on Seven drew a huge 832,000 viewers.
Best for 10 was the return of Thank God You’re Here on 746,000.
