The driver of that car, a 55-year-old woman, was taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment.

Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Police arrested the alleged driver of the blue Mazda, a 39-year-old Pooraka man, close by in Balmoral Street, Woodville Park.

He did not appear to have been hurt.

He was charged with driving under the influence, driving without due care, cause harm by dangerous driving and failing to submit to breath analysis.

He also tested positive to methamphetamine and cannabis, according to police.

He was bailed to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on September 16.

Another of the cars had to be towed due to damage.
