After 3 years Outback Truckers is returning to 7mate for its 10th Season.

Julia Redwood, Executive Producer and Managing Director, Prospero Productions said, “Millions of fans around the world have been extremely patient waiting for this series. At last they will be able to follow once again all their favourite truckers and many new amazing ones. These truckers are so important to the nation and to see what they achieve is extraordinary. It’s true what they say – without trucks, Australia stops!”

Steve Grahame, Outback Trucker said, “Mate, it’s great to be back! I’m really proud to be a part of this series, it’s changed my life and the Australian trucking industry by putting a positive spotlight on it. It’s been worth the wait!”

Outback Truckers was the first ‘outback’ show of its kind, paving the way for many series that came after and has provided more than 450 jobs for local and national screen practitioners. Fans can get ready for another adrenalinepumping ride as Outback Truckers returns for an epic 10th season! 72 year old Outback trucking legend, Steve Grahame has been battling Australia’s toughest roads for 56 years and he returns for this season to face off against his biggest challenges yet – while family man, Yogi, drives all over Australia from the East Coast to the West Coast.

Loveable Outback rogue, Sludge fights to get back to trucking after a near death accident last year and our trucking veterans are not alone – new faces join the fleet this season, taking on massive loads with even bigger stakes, whilst battling some of the harshest and most unforgiving terrain in the world.

This season ramps up the danger, as our truckers come up against ever increasing extreme weather events from deadly heat waves to freak tropical storms and the aftermath of record breaking floods. The roads they travel are on are on some of Australia’s toughest where few dare to tread. Every haul is a high-stakes challenge, where lives and livelihoods hang in the balance.

Whether it’s rookie drivers on the brink of disaster or seasoned outback veterans struggling to keep their heads above water amidst crushing financial pressure, each episode delivers a relentless rollercoaster of real-life drama on wheels. Buckle up for a raw, unfiltered glimpse into the world of heavy haulage, where every delivery is a desperate battle against time, and every decision can mean the difference between triumph or catastrophe.

Outback Truckers is narrated by West Australian actor, Luke Hewitt and executive produced by Prospero Productions’ owner and managing director Julia Redwood, along with Robin Shingleton. Prospero’s, Simon Hill serves as Series Producer.

8.30pm Thursday 27th August on 7mate.
