An urgent product recall has been issued for an Wiggle-themed toy over a choking hazard.
The “Yellow Emma Wiggle headband” with a yellow and black bow and four flashing lights has been recalled by Product Safety Australia, after it was found that coin batteries inside the toy were not adequately secured.
The toy is also missing a label that warns users about the dangers of button/coin batteries to children.

Product Safety Australia said consumers should stop using the product immediately, and keep it out of reach of children.
The headband was sold online and in-person around the country.
It was also sold at the Wiggles’ live performances and online store.

It was sold at a range of retailers including: Aussie Toys Online, ABC Kids Paradise, Etcetera Home & Gifts, J & P Designs, LatestBuy, Mighty Ape Limited, Nextra Kalgoorlie Newsagenc,y Rugs N Timber, Sanity, True Blue Toys Australia, and Tates Toyworld.
The Emma Wiggle headband was sold from January 29, 2017 to March 24, 2024.
Emma Watkins performed as Emma Wiggle, and was part of the popular kids band from 2010 to 2021.
