Paramedics later assessed 13 people who were inside the historic outback pub when it erupted into flames.
Queensland Ambulance Service said nobody was taken to hospital for further treatment.
The fire broke out around 2:45am, and was extinguished by 5:40am.
Part of the hotel’s roof collapsed during the blaze.
The Baralaba Hotel has been operating since 1929 under various names.
Members of the small community were left devastated by the news.
The Baralaba Bash, a yearly music event hosted at the Pub, was set to go ahead next weekend and will be relocated.
“Baralaba is a resilient community and we will rally to make necessary changes to make the weekend very special,” organisers wrote on Facebook.
