An allegedly drunk driver is accused of crashing into not one, but four cars in Sydney
If that wasn’t enough, police say he then ended up ploughing into a house – with the homeowner inside.
The allegedly drunk driver was behind the wheel on John Street in upmarket Hunters Hill in the city’s north.

He ploughed into four parked cars before ending up in a home where young Jasper De Klerk was sleeping, alongside mother, Leasa.
“It sounded like a really gigantic thunder strike,” Jasper said.
Leasa said she ran down to see what had happened after a “huge bang”.
“(I) opened the door and all I could see was a headlight in front of me,” she said.
Leasa also saw the accused, a 61-year-old, and the hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of the damage he’s accused of causing.
“I’ve walked out, I’ve got a gentleman trying to get out of the car, I’ve got another car over here in my driveway that was absolutely written off and then another one that’s on its side,” she said.
“It’s just phenomenal that no one was killed, it’s quite remarkable,” she said.
The driver has been taken to hospital and he’s expected to be charged.
