Much-loved TV presenter Maggie Beer is recovering in hospital following a fall at her home in the Barossa Valley.
A family post on her official Instagram account indicates Maggie, aged 79 has “minor bone fractures and related injuries.”
“Just writing to let you know that following a fall at her home, she’s unfortunately suffered a couple of minor bone fractures and related injuries,” the post stated.
“Thankfully Col, her husband, was there and she is now in the excellent hands of her doctors who are confident she will make a full recovery.”
Maggie most recently presented Maggie Beer’s Big Mission on ABC where she addressed the quality of food, or lack of it, and well-being in aged care residences.
