A 16-year-old boy has been charged after a woman was allegedly sexually assaulted while running in Melbourne’s north-west.
The woman was running along a park in Jacana Reserve, near Johnstone Street in Jacana, about 11.30am on August 14 when she heard someone come up behind her.
She was then allegedly thrown to the ground and sexually assaulted.

The woman fought and yelled for help before she managed to get away and ask two passers-by for help, who then dialled triple-zero.
A search warrant was executed at a Roxburgh Park home this morning.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested and charged with a string of offences.
The charges include rape, stalking, false imprisonment, common law assault, recklessly cause injury, detention for a sexual purpose and sexual assault.
