Stan Sport’s coverage of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games  gets underway with the Opening Ceremony today (August 29) from 4:00am AEST, kicking off the opening day of competition which begins from 5:00pm AEST.

​The Games will launch in style with the Opening Ceremony to be held on Paris’ iconic Champs-Elysées tomorrow morning. This will be followed by a densely packed programme across 11 days of competition. Viewers on Stan Sport can enjoy the action from 549 events across 22 sports showcased across more than 20 live and ad-free channels.

​All eyes will be on the Para Swimming, Para Athletics and Para Cycling Track which all get underway in the coming days, with plenty of genuine Aussie medal chances on offer.

​For Paris 2024, Stan will deliver the most comprehensive coverage of a Paralympics in history. Stan Sport will be the only place for Australians to watch every event from the Paralympic Games ad-free, live and on demand.

This live coverage will also be complemented by the the most comprehensive on demand offering including full replays for all events as well as select highlights and minis. This will make over 1400 hours of live and on-demand Paralympics coverage available to viewers on Stan Sport.

​Stan Sport will also be the only place to watch Paralympics Daily, available from 8:00am AEST every morning throughout the Games. Hosted by Chris Stubbs, the one hour show will review all the overnight action from Paris and preview what to look forward to in the day ahead.

Paralympics Daily will also include opinion and analysis from five Australian Paralympic legends across a range of sports. This includes Australia’s most decorated Paralympian, Matthew Cowdrey, who alongside nine-time Gold Medallist Priya Cooper will provide unique insights into the 141 swimming medal events.

​Also joining the Paralympics Daily lineup to break down the track and field action is former champion sprinter Heath Francis with an illustrious Paralympic medal tally of six gold, four silver and three bronze across three Games. Former Paralympics wheelchair basketballer and two-time para sailing gold medal winner Liesl Tesch as well as four-time Paralympic wheelchair tennis legend David Hall will also provide expert analysis.

Stan’s Paralympics offering will also benefit from the recently enhanced Stan Sport interface with new features to help provide a premium, elevated and distinct viewing experience. Closed captions will also be available across a range of devices for select events, meaning the Paralympics will be accessible to more Australians than ever before.

​The Paris 2024 Paralympic Games form part of a huge lineup of action coming up on Stan Sport including The Rugby Championship and Bledisloe Cup (running until September 29), the 2024 US Open (running until September 9) and the 2024/2025 UEFA Champions League season (beginning September 18).
