Former CFMEU boss John Setka has showed up to yet another government worksite for the second day in a row, as Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan issued him a stern warning.

Setka resigned from his position amid allegations aired by 60 Minutes and Nine newspapers that underworld and bikie figures had infiltrated the union.

He has since created waves with Victorian government officials following his unauthorised appearance at the Footscray Hospital development yesterday.

Setka today showed up at the future Metro Tunnel State Library station – another government worksite – where he reportedly spoke to about 700 workers.

He slammed Prime Minister Anthony Albanese over the move to force the union into administration after yesterday claiming he was the reason he resigned.

Allan has in the past vowed to crack down on dirty union behaviour.

Today, she had a message to the former union boss after learning he visited yet another government Big Build site.

“I want to be clear at the outset there is no place on Victorian Big Build worksites for John Setka,” she said.

“He’s stood down from the union, as he should have, and there is no place for him on our worksite.”

The matter has been referred to Victoria Police.

“Victoria Police has received a verbal briefing from the Police Minister’s office about a pending referral regarding a former union official,” Victoria Police said.

“Victoria Police will assess the matter once details are provided.”

While the premier claims Setka’s actions are unlawful, Victoria Police will determine whether he has committed an offence.
