A Melbourne man decided to head to work the morning he discovered he’d won $15 million in the lotto draw the night before.
The Glen Waverley man was one of two division one entries in Tuesday’s Oz Lotto draw.
He checked his ticket early yesterday morning and found he was a winner, but decided to go to work to distract himself from the excitement.

But, he said, the win was all he could think about.
“Oh my, I can’t believe this has happened. I’m crying,” he said after making contact with lotto officials.
“I’m overwhelmed with it all. It’s so much to process.”

He joked that the next step might be getting a bodyguard, and shared his plans for the holiday of a lifetime “somewhere in Europe”.
His division one winning entry was purchased at Seraglio Lotto in South Melbourne Central shopping centre.
Store owner Amelia Lay said she couldn’t believe her outlet had sold a division one winning ticket worth $15 million.

“Our customers and local community are over the moon for the winner, and we can’t believe we were one of the two outlets that had sold a division one winning entry nationally,” she said.
“Congratulations to the winning man from Glen Waverley, and we wish him all the best with his life-changing prize.”
The second winning ticket was purchased in New South Wales.
