Thursday was a very big night of Sport with all three commercial networks locked onto competition including AFL, NRL, Paralympics and Socceroos.
The key is to look to audience share which shows Seven easily winning the night.
In the audience numbers AFL came out on top at 773,000 viewers.
NRL was next in Sport at 549,000.
Paralympics averaged 203,000 / 191,000 / 172,000 across the night.
Football: Socceroos v Bahrain was 128,000.
An extended Home & Away led entertainment from 7pm at 693,000 (but not on primary channels in all cities), then 7:30 (573,000), Foreign Correspondent (407,000) and Great Australian Walks (179,000).
Seven News was #1 at 1.21m then The Chase (633,000).
Nine News drew 1.13m then wins by A Current Affair (890,000) and Tipping Point (636,000).
ABC News averaged 705,000 for ABC. Hard Quiz (329,000), George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces (246,000), Antiques Roadshow (216,000) and Miriam Margoloyes: Impossibly Australian (165,000) followed.
10 News First was 296,000 then The Project (259,000) and Deal or No Deal (257,000).
On SBS it was SBS World News (170,000 / 131,000), Junior Doctors Down Under (132,000), Mastermind (82,000) Rebus (59,000).
The Morning Show: 215,000 / 145,000
Today Extra: 175,000 / 112,000.
