Loveable AFL legend and media personality Billy Brownless will team up with his footy-playing son Oscar hoping to utilise his own life experience and Oscar’s travel knowledge, sprinkled with a lot of fun, to win the Race. Billy began his esteemed footy career with the Geelong Cats, making his debut in 1986. He quickly made a name for himself as a strong full-forward, winning the Cats’ Best First Year Player award that same year. He went on to establish himself as a talented footballer with a knack for stepping up and scoring big in the final series matches. Twice he led Geelong’s goalkicking and was named an All-Australian in 1991. Having played 198 matches in a career spanning from 1986-1997, Billy sits fifth with 441 goals on Geelong all-time goal scoring list alongside iconic names Gary Ablett Snr, Doug Wade, Tom Hawkins and Steve Johnson. Since hanging up the boots, Billy has enjoyed a 25-year connection to footy fans through the media. Billy was a central member of the Logie-award winning The Footy Show on the Nine Network and for the past decade, Billy and his good friend James Brayshaw have been hosts of The Rush Hour on Triple M Melbourne. He also can be heard as part of Triple M Footy’s weekend coverage. Billy is hoping his son Oscar will take the lead and do a lot of the work on the challenges, while Billy supervises and rests his old footy injuries. Oscar, a rising star in his own right, is making waves in the football world, proving that greatness runs in the family. Oscar attended Geelong College where he would go on to Captain the First XVIII Football team and cocaptain the Geelong Falcons. He joined the Geelong Cats in the 2018 NAB ALF Draft under the father-son rule. While the hard running midfielder did not make his senior debut, Oscar played 27 VFL games and kicked nine goals in his time at the Cats. He was runner-up in the Cats VFL best & fairest in 2021 after averaging 22 possessions that year, helping his side to a top four finish. In 2024, he landed a mid-season signing with Geelong Amateur. The father-son team are also looking forward to enjoying the experience together and building on their relationship, while gaining life-long memories in the process. Using their Brownless charm and smarts, the competitive duo plan to shine on the Race like they do on the footy field and are in it to win it.

Chloe returned home to join Melbourne-based Western United on loan from Kansas City for their inaugural 2022/2023 A-League Women’s season, and then returned to Melbourne for the full 2023/2024 season. She was awarded Western United’s highest honour, the 2023/2024 A-League Women Player of the Season medal. Chloe’s national honours began in 2013 when she captained the Australian U-20’s national team to place at the AFF Women’s Championship. That same year she played in the AFC U-19 Women’sChampionship before making her debut for the Matildas. In 2016, Chloe represented Australia at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, 2018 AFC Asian Cup, 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup as well the 2020 Women’s Olympic Qualifiers. Chloe played an integral part in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic campaign for the Matildas, notching up 50 games in the green and gold for Australia. Chloe is looking forward to the challenges the Race will bring, something that is very desirable for the athlete, and is excited about tackling this challenge together with Emily. While the two may be fierce cross-town rivals in the A-League Women, they have played football at the highest level together, representing Australia for over a decade, and know they work well together and make a great team. Emily commenced her professional football career with W-League side Brisbane Roar in 2009 and went on to have 83 appearances and 30 goals with the club from 2009-2018. During this time Emily decided to challenge herself abroad, signing with English giants Liverpool in 2012 before she went on to play in Canada for Ottawa Fury in 2013, then Japan’s Urawa Reds Diamonds in 2016 and Norway’s Avaldsnes in 2017, and back home to win a minor premiership with Melbourne Victory in 2018/2019. After a near perfect season in Melbourne, German football heavyweights Bayern Munich came calling, in which Emily was a part of their Frauen-Bundesliga and Champions League team. Emily then returned home to Brisbane Roar for a breakout season securing the top-scoring golden boot before departing back overseas, this time to Sweden for Vittsio GIK in 2021. Two seasons later she left to explore the high-level competition in the WSL in England for Aston Villa from 2021-2023. Emily departed Aston Villa due to suffering an ankle injury and returned home to try and make it back for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup. Although Emily missed out on playing for the Matildas in the 2023 FIFA World Cup tournament, she went returned to Melbourne Victory to play in the 2023/2024 A-League Women’s competition. In the green and gold, Emily scored a hattrick on debut with the Australian U-20 national team in 2011 in a FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup qualifying match and received her first cap for the Matildas against Japan in 2012. Although Emily and Chloe missed out on playing for the Matildas in the 2023 FIFA World Cup tournament due to injury, they were still very much part of it, making appearances on both the Channel 7 and Optus Sport broadcasts. Emily is currently signed to Melbourne Victory and Chloe is currently signed with Western United. Emily together with Chloe have recently launched Future Baller, which aims to equip young girls with holistic football skills and cultivate their mental strength, resilience, and leadership abilities. The two never back down from a challenge, they actually thrive on it, and believe the skills and experience they have gained as professional athletes will be a huge asset when it comes to the Race. The super competitive and extremely fit friends have their eyes firmly placed on the final Pit Stop and the ultimate prize.

Cyrell Paule & Eden Dally
Charity: Bravehearts
Reality stars and partners in life, Cyrell Paule and Eden Dally are looking to push themselves to the limit for their charity and are prepared to do anything to win the Race including lie, cheat or steal. The youngest of seven kids, Cyrell first came to fame as the firecracker bride on Married At First Sight Australia, earning the nickname ‘Cyclone Cyrell’ among viewers due to her passionate and turbulent actions on the show. Cyrell went on to join The Challenge Australia alongside 21 other prominent Australian reality television contestants and personalities in Argentina, living and competing against each other to win $200,000 in prize money and title of Challenge Champion. While her on-air activities and outspoken nature has made her a household name, her greatest achievement in life is becoming a mother to son Boston. Teaming up with her partner in crime and “love hunk” Eden on the Race, Cyrell thinks they will make a great team as she is the brains and he’s the brawn. Believing her biggest strength is also her weakness, and that’s her mouth, and while she may be used to a little drama in her life, Cyrell worries her brutally honest comments may at times gets them into trouble. Eden first came to prominence in 2018 on season one of Love Island Australia, where the correctional officer went on to become runner up. The following year Eden beat 20 other hopefuls to be crowned 2019 Mr World Australia in Melbourne and in 2020, he participated in SAS Australia. He joined the cast for a Celebrity Holey Moley special in 2021. Eden believes his line of work will help push him on the Race to fight harder and motivate him when he feels like giving up, and thinks their biggest advantage is that they might surprise people, never judge a book by its cover. And while their biggest challenge on the race will be each other, their game plan is to befriend everyone, never underestimate their opponents, and to follow the smart and strong teams.

Havana Brown & Stephanie Wood
Charity: The Salvation Army’s 614
Australian recording artist and trailblazing DJ, Havana Brown has carved out a successful international music career as a highly sought-after DJ. Leaving behind her decks, the hit making DJ will partner with her best friend of over 20 years, Stephanie Wood, to take on the world’s biggest race. This led to a collaboration that delivered the acclaimed Crave Mix series, comprising nine chart-topping compilation albums, many certified gold and platinum. She went on to sign a deal with Universal Republic Records, home to renowned mega-artists such as Ariana Grande, Post Malone and Taylor Swift, and collaborated with heavyweight producer RedOne, who has also worked with the likes of Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez, marking a pivotal moment in her career. This success was followed by an impressive string of consecutive number one hits on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs Chart, including Big Banana, Warrior and Flashing Lights. With more than 300 million streams of her tunes, 3.2 million singles sold, and over a million social media followers, DJ Havana Brown is one of Australia’s greatest musical exports. Havana’s experience as a DJ and artist has taught her to thrive under pressure and think creatively on the fly, which will be invaluable during the Race. And while she is accustomed to long hours and demanding schedules, she’s used to a certain level of travel comfort. Havana will be racing with her ‘ride-or-die’ Steph, and hopes Steph’s infectious enthusiasm will ensure her own yearning for luxury, will be replaced with laughter and adventure. Having worked her way up the career ladder, and had a wonderful family of her own, mum of two Steph is looking forward to taking this rare opportunity to take time out of her hectic life, and travel with her best friend. Aside from getting to spend every minute with Havana, Steph wants to prove to herself that she is both mentally and physically strong enough to do the Race. Steph expects that teams may pre-judge the pair as a little precious just looking at their big hair, make up and bouncy walk, and underestimate their abilities as a team. Her plan is not to correct anyone who makes these incorrect assumptions and says she would not be opposed to playing up to anyone’s misconception if it helps them in the Race. Having travelled extensively together, besties since their teenage years, Havana and Steph are hoping to have a blast tackling the Race while creating unforgettable memories together. Filled with energy, enthusiasm and fun, the team plan to give it everything they have got.
