A motorcyclist was taken to hospital after a police car collided with him on the Sydney Harbour Bridge yesterday afternoon.
Dashcam video shared with 2GB’s Ben Fordham shows the moment the police van appeared to change lanes into the path of the motorcyclist.
The rider was thrown to the road at about 3:25pm.

The rider was treated by paramedics at the scene.
The 54-year-old motorcyclist was taken to the taken to Royal North Shore Hospital for treatment for a leg injury.

NSW police said that officers had commenced an investigation into “a crash involving a marked police vehicle and a motorcycle on the Bradfield Highway.”
“No police officers were injured.”
There were major delays on the harbour bridge during peak hour traffic, with several lanes closed.
