An electric heater sold on television has been recalled after it was found to be unsafe.
The Euroblade Suntower infrared heater Sundear Sunmore–H 2000 model was found not to meet electrical safety standards, Product Safety Australia said in its recall notice.
“The heat produced by the heater in close proximity (500mm or less) to objects exceeds the maximum levels of the standard,” the notice read.

Owners should stop using the heater immediately, switch it off, and unplug it from its power source.
They can contact Show TV Australia to request a replacement heater from the Euroblade range, or a refund.
