The importance of a strong lead-in was evident in last night’s programming with The Hundred again winning its slot, while 10 dropping specials across select weeks did not work for Deal or No Deal.

The Block again topped entertainment at 1.08m viewers in National TV Audience.

My Kitchen Rules drew 837,000 then 7:30 (744,000), Back Roads (572,000) but Deal or No Deal: Celebrity Jackpot struggled at 264,000. Great Coastal Railway Journeys followed on 178,000.

The Hundred with Andy Lee led its slot at 618,000 then The Cheap Seats (416,000) and The Assembly (415,000). Insight at 170,000 eclipsed Made in Bondi at 164,000 which began around 9pm.

Seven News was #1 at 1.32m. Home & Away was strong at 884,000 then The Chase (619,000). First Dates UK managed 87,000.

Nine News averaged 1.21m for Nine. A Current Affair at 1.01m and Tipping Point (653,000) both won their slots. True Story with Hamish & Andy replayed to 352,000 / 254,000.

ABC News was 881,000. Hard Quiz (373,000), Antiques Roadshow (195,000), The Art Of (182,000) followed but triple j’s One Night Stand in a lengthy slot was just 47,000.

The Project drew 318,000 for 10. 10 News First was 314,000 then Deal or No Deal (286,000) and NCIS (139,000).

On SBS it was SBS World News (178,000 / 152,000) , Dateline (158,000) and Mastermind (93,000).
