Drivers in Sydney have been at a loss as to how to intepret this parking sign.
The sign located outside Tallawong Station in the city’s north-east specifies parking is prohibited between both 6am and 10pm and 3pm and 7pm.
Parking is allowed for two hours all other times, according to the sign.

This picture of the sign was posted in a community Facebook page, with the anonymous poster querying the tautology.
“If you can’t park 6am-10pm, why does it specify you also can’t park 3pm-7pm?” the user asked.

Blacktown City Council has since taken steps to rectify the error.
“Blacktown City Council was made aware of a typographical error on a street sign in Tallawong, installed by Transport for NSW,” a spokesperson said in a statement to 9news.com.au.
“The sign has been reprinted and replaced today by Blacktown City Council.
“We will provide notice to the NSW Government Revenue Department of the issue, to assist anyone who may have been fined.”
