A 16-year-old boy has allegedly been slashed with a machete during a home invasion in Adelaide‘s northern suburbs this morning.
Police were called to the property in Edward John Parade in Eyre in response to reports three people had forced their way into the property and assaulted the teenager.
Officers said two of the suspects were armed with machetes.

An 18-year-old man from the house ran outside and was chased by the suspects, who police said potentially left the area in a black sedan.
The 16-year-old boy was taken to hospital but his injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.
Police suspect the home invasion was targeted and have made an appeal for information.
