Upcoming dating reality series Stranded on Honeymoon Island has been pushed back to a 2025 broadcast, Seven confirmed to TV Tonight.
The series, based on a Danish format, sees 12 singles looking for love on a South Pacific island.
After a speed dating event, couples are matched and ‘married’, before they are stranded on a deserted island for 21 days in nothing but their wedding attire.
Removed from all modern dating obstacles, with no devices, no distractions, they pursue their new relationship.
Narrated by Jackie O. and produced by Endemol Shine Australia, it was originally due to screen in Q2 with a “coming soon” promo teased in May.
