New music series Headliners is set to screen on ABC.
Hosted by Elly-May Barnes, the series sets out to create two bands composed entirely of members living with a disability.
The Endemol Shine Australia series is described as “a raw, unflinching and insightful ob-doc exposing the lack of visibility, access, and inclusivity for some of Australia’s most talented musicians and performers who live & work in parallel to the established names in the industry but remain invisible, despite their incredible skill and passion.”
The series will form part of parent company Banijay’s slate for the MIPCOM trade showcase to buyers later this month along with Dream Home, Shaun Micallef’s Origin Odyssey, Dessert Masters and The Summit.
