A man has suffered a major facial injury after being attacked by a dog on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
He was camping on a private property in the Sunshine Coast region when another camper’s dog bit him in the face about 2.50pm yesterday.
The man, aged in his 40s, was treated by paramedics for “significant facial injuries” at the scene, Queensland Ambulance confirmed.

A LifeFlight rescue chopper took him to Sunshine Coast University Hospital around 40 minutes after the dog attack.
He remains in hospital in a stable condition.
