UK band Oasis have confirmed they will visit Australia during their much-anticipated reunion tour.

“People of the land down under, you better run-you better take cover,” the band said in a press release.

”We are coming. You are most welcome.”

The band, fronted by Liam and Noel Gallagher, announced a show in Melbourne on October 31 next year, and one in Sydney on November 7.

Tickets go on presale on October 14, before the official general sale on October 15.

Entry is by private ballot only. Ballot registration is open now will close at 8am AEDT tomorrow, Wednesday 9th October. Fans can register here for the private ballot.

The Gallagher brothers, whose relationship has been notoriously stormy, announced they would reunite Oasis in August.

The band initially formed in 1991 before splitting in 2009.

The tour will kick off in Wales on July 4 next year, taking in the UK, US, Canada, and now Australia.
