A taxi driver has been charged after a man was allegedly stabbed in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.
Police were called to Bountry Street in Paddington at 10pm following reports of a stabbing.
Officers found a 22-year-old man with stab wounds to the face.

Police claim the passenger and driver had an altercation before the taxi driver allegedly stabbed the 22-year-old.
He was taken to hospital in a stable condition.
A 71-year-old man was arrested nearby and taken to Waverly Police Station where he has been charged with reckless wounding.
He has been refused bail and will appear in Parramatta Local Court today.
