The parents of a toddler who was hit and killed while crossing a road with relatives in Melbourne’s south-east yesterday have remembered her as a beautiful and deeply loved girl.
Three-year-old Mila Lin was with her family at a pedestrian crossing on Heatherton Road in Endeavour Hills about 8.30am yesterday when she was hit by a car.
She was rushed to Royal Children’s Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Her family took to social media to announce she had died overnight.
Mila’s mum has told 9News she was “such a good girl” and “deeply loved”.
Her father was comforted by strangers at the scene of the crash this morning as floral tributes grew.
The driver of the car, a 24-year-old local man, stopped at the scene and was arrested by police.

He was charged with dangerous driving causing serious injury.
Further charges are expected to be considered following Mila’s death.
Police are still investigating how the crash occurred and whether the driver ran a red light.
The man has been bailed to appear before Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
