A woman has died and police are urgently searching for two children in a south-west Sydney bay, after they were seen in distress in the water.
Police were called to a boat ramp on Floyd Bay, in Lansvale after reports of a woman and two children in distress in the water.

The woman was pulled from the water a short time later but she could not be revived.
Police, Marine Area Command, PolAir and SES are currently searching for the two children reportedly seen with her in the water.
