Australian networks have been busy acquiring new factual titles.
Nine has picked up the new David Attenborough series Asia produced by BBC Studios Natural History Unit.
The seven-part series showcases the wildlife of our planet’s largest continent. It has the highest mountain range, the deepest ocean, the tallest jungles, and the biggest cave.
Covering the length and breadth of Asia, the series will reveal its most remarkable landscapes and animals, and feature dramatic, previously unseen behaviour.
Filmed over the course of nearly four years, this is the first time that Asia has been the focus of a major BBC wildlife series.
Five-part science series Solar System has sold to ABC. Diamond rain, supersized volcanoes, exploding ocean, Professor Brian Cox reveals the strange worlds visible to us as never before.
Airdates are yet to be announced.
