Since last year’s TV Tonight Multichannel Survey, several of SBS channels have increased the age of their desired target audience.
SBS VICELAND has shifted from 16-39 & 25-54-year-olds to 35-54.
SBS Food has also moved from families and female audiences aged 25-54 to People 35+. World Movies also switched from film lovers aged 25-54 to those aged 35+.
SBS has provided monthly audience reach for all channels rather than primetime share.
NITV is up by 17% in audience reach now at 2.2 million Australians each month, but VICELAND has slipped from 4m to 3.8m each month.
SBS World Movies reach is steady at an average of 3.4 million Australians each month. SBS Food audience reach is down from 2.9m to 2.6m Australians each month. SBS WorldWatch has a monthly audience reach of 500,000 is up more than 16% from 2023.
