A gunman is on the run after shooting another man during a break-in at a Brisbane home overnight.
Detectives today are investigating how the man aged in his 20s was shot in the leg when a group of offenders, unknown to the occupants, broke into the home at Nundah in the inner city.
Officers were called to the Florence Street property shortly after midnight following reports of shots fired.

“Initial investigations indicate a man in his 20s sustained a gunshot wound to his lower extremities during a break and enter,” a police spokesperson said.
He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A woman also sustained minor injuries.
The offenders fled the scene before police arrived.
A crime scene has been declared and investigations are ongoing.
Anyone with information that could help investigations, including any dashcam vision in the area at the time, is urged to contact police.
